Meetings 1st Tuesday odd month – Petroleum Club

The Midland Chapter concluded 2007 with an ethics presentation by Arlen Edgar titled "Engineering Ethics -What You Don't Know Can Hurt You." Twenty • five members and prospective members attended this November 6th meeting. Arlen presented an interactive discussion of ethics awareness with the members working through challenging evaluation, reporting andconsulting issues. Each attendee was given the SPEE "Discussion and Guidance on Ethics."

Marshall Watson gave an excellent talk on "Coalbed Methane Basics" on January 7th. The talk covered the basics of evaluating CBM reservoirs. An informative question and answer session followed the talk. 28 members and guests attended the meeting.
