Barton has been serving the Sixth Congressional District of Texas since 1984
and is currently the top Republican on the House Energy and Commerce Committee
which has jurisdiction of a large percentage of our national economic policies.
Congressman Barton also serves on the House Republican Steering Committee which
coordinates strategic planning for House Republicans.
